My husband could not come home Thursday or Friday, so I had to put off running till Sunday.

Easter Day, I was able to head out about 9:45. I arrived at my destination at  10:15 and started running at 10:20. It was a quite outing. I decided to run a path that is out near Lake Mead. So nice, but, I didn’t see mile markers. I told myself, go for an hour and then head back. Well, I got up to 40 minutes and decided to turn around. Good thing! When I  turned around I had the wind blowing on me, probably up to 20 mph. O’ gezz, it was hard. I made it back to the car by  11:45. I had no idea how far I had gone, so  I got in the car and drove to my turn around spot 3 miles. So all together I did 6 miles.

And, again as soon as I got in the car I took off my shoes and had a small wrinkly blister on the left heel nothing on the right since it is just raw skin (covered with New Skin). Then the nose started. AAAA CHHHOOOO, AAAACCCHOOOO, AAACCCCHHHHO. Damn this sucks, the 1/2 hour drive home I was sneezing and blowing my nose. Before I left that morning I took my Clariton and the day before I took Clariton. I felt like crap the rest of the day. I felt sick and my forehead felt swollen, stuffy. You know, that is just how you want to fell on a nice holiday with your kids. Good thing my husband took over. He feed the kids and then made our food. It was a simple dinner… Steak. Then he had to pack his bags and head back to California for work.
